🎓 Schools

Highlands Ranch is served by Douglas County Schools (A−). All four Highlands Ranch high schools rate 9/10 on GreatSchools — one of the metro's strongest clusters. Heads-up for 2026–27: sixth graders in the Highlands Ranch, Mountain Vista and ThunderRidge feeder areas now attend middle school, and Saddle Ranch, Heritage and Acres Green elementaries merged into Eldorado, Summit View and Fox Creek (July 2026). Always confirm the exact school a specific home feeds into before you buy — I can verify that for any address.
